The Texas Longhorns and Steve Sarkisian recently extended an offer to four-star defensive end J’Mond Tapp.
Sarkisian’s staff has picked up momentum on the 2022 recruiting trail after the commitments of four-star running back Jaydon Blue and five-star quarterback Maalik Murphy.
The Longhorns currently have the No. 7 recruiting class in the nation and are expected to land several other blue-chip prospects. A few of the highly-touted recruits that could join the fold will likely come from out of state.
Tapp is listed as a top-10 player from the state of Louisiana according to 247Sports. The 6-3, 230-pound playmaker is a three-sport athlete and has compiled an impressive list of offers including Alabama, Florida, Georgia, and LSU.
There are no crystal ball predictions entered for Tapp at the moment, therefore Texas has plenty of time to make up ground.
