Recruiting appears to have new life under head coach Steve Sarkisian.
Momentum was clearly dwindling toward the end of Tom Herman’s tenure in Austin. With the staff Sarkisian has assembled, the Longhorns’ efforts have gone outside the state.
Texas’ onslaught of 2022 offers continued on Wednesday night with Khurttiss Perry. Sarkisian will dip his toes into his old home state as the talented defensive tackle prospect resides in Montgomery, Alabama.
Perry marks the 10th defensive tackle offered by the Longhorns in the cycle. With defensive coordinator Pete Kwiatkowski taking over, landing elite interior defensive lineman becomes a recruiting must.
