It’s the most wonderful time of the college football year, with early signing day approaching, and Christmas not too far behind.
Steve Sarkisian and his staff are working hard to round up some major pieces in the class of 2022, as early signing day is just 12 days away and counting. Texas has some major prospects on their Christmas wish list for the 2022 class, and are well into developing their wish list for the following class.
The Longhorns are looking to add depth at just about every position across the board, and that is something that they will continue to search for in the 2023 class, which currently ranks No. 26 in the nation according to 247Sports. Texas fans shouldn’t overreact to the ranking because as it currently sits, there is just one commit in the class in four-star safety Jamel Johnson.
There is still a long ways to go from being able to snag some more commits, and that will likely remain true going into next season, as recruits will want to see how Sarkisian and Texas can respond to a very disappointing season.
In light of the Christmas season, Longhorns Wire has compiled a wish list for Texas’ 2023 recruiting class that would make the Longhorns as happy as a kid opening presents under the tree.
