Texas Longhorns head coach Steve Sarkisian is reaching into his East Coast pipeline that he created while at Alabama.
Sarkisian’s staff has dipped into the Sunshine State with an offer to defensive tackle Bishop Thomas from Bishop Moore Catholic High School in Orlando.
Thomas announced via his Twitter account that he received an offer from the University of Texas on Wednesday. The 6-2, 285-pound prospect doesn’t have any rankings at this time according to 247Sports. However, after receiving offers from Texas, Purdue, and Tennessee, while Penn State and LSU are also showing interest, his rankings across the board could appear in the near future.
With the serious momentum that Texas’ 2022 recruiting class is already getting, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see more players like Thomas choose to commit early.
