Texas drubs Michigan in the Big House

Michigan proved no match for Texas despite being at home in Ann Arbor

Texas is an SEC powerhouse.

The Longhorns left no doubt about that on Saturday as they clobbered Michigan, 31-12, in Ann Arbor.

In the emphatic process, Texan ended Michigan’s 16-game winning streak overall and run of 23 consecutive victories at the Big House.

The outcome was never in doubt as the Longhorns dominated the first half en route to a 24-3 advantage.

Quinn Ewers was dazzling at QB for Texas. He threw three touchdown passes and for 246 yards.

The Longhorn defense throttled Davis Warren and the Wolverine offense. Michigan did not score a touchdown until there were less than two minutes to go in the game.

At least Matthew McConaughey was happy. One can be sure Derek Jeter was not thrilled.
