Texas defensive tackle Myron Warren to enter the transfer portal

ANOTHER member of Tom Herman’s 2019 class…

The Longhorns are beginning to see some players filter out after the conclusion of spring football, as junior defensive tackle Myron Warren took to Twitter to announce his intentions to transfer on Tuesday.

Warren marks the first Longhorn to enter the portal after spring, and is the latest player from the horrendous 2019 class that Tom Herman assembled to leave the team.

He is now No. 15 of 26 players from Herman’s 2019 class that has transferred, and brings the total amount of players that haven’t contributed to a whopping 19.

Unfortunately for Warren, he was buried on the depth chart behind players like Ta’Quon Graham (Atlanta Falcons), Moro Ojomo, Alfred Collins and the slew of recruits that will join in the fall.

His departure marks the 17th player that has left Texas in the past year, as with all the departures the Longhorns are now at roster turnover rate of 40%.

The Louisiana native recorded three career tackles as a Longhorn, and will now seek elsewhere for a chance to see the field.
