Texas turned the ball over 15 times on Wednesday night compared to Texas Tech’s seven. The biggest difference between the two teams was capitalizing off of those turnovers. The Red Raiders were able able to get 19 points while the Longhorns got zero. A huge difference when the final score is decided by two points.

The biggest one of the night was late in the second half with Courtney Ramey inbounding the ball. With 0:46 left, a hesitation left the ball for Kyler Edwards who then assisted Terrence Shannon for an easy dunk to tie the ball game.

It is unlikely that Texas will go another game without scoring points off the turnovers they force. However, having 15 of them will hurt you throughout Big 12 play. Shaka Smart will need to clean it up before hosting Kansas State on Saturday.
