Game three was much more one-sided in the Longhorns favor. Zubia started it off with a one-run home run in the first inning, what would be his first of two home runs on the day, earning a team-high four RBI’s.
Cam Williams was the second player to go the distance on the day for Texas with a two-run home run in the second inning.

TCU didn’t score a single run until the ninth inning with a three-run home run, but it wouldn’t be enough as Texas would take game three and the series.
Pete Hansen (6-1) got the win for Texas, pitching 7.0 innings with four strikeouts, allowing only two hits during his time on the mound.
