The Texas Longhorns baseball team (38-12) needed to bounce back after losing their first Big 12 series of the season to Texas Tech last weekend. That didn’t come in easy fashion with the No. 3 TCU Horned Frogs.

Both teams split a one-point win on Friday and Saturday, but a one-sided victory on Sunday for the Longhorns gave Texas the series win 2-1. This was a critical series win for Texas, as TCU currently sits atop the Big 12 standings.

With only five regular season games remaining, this is a catalyst win for Texas that could serve them well going into the postseason.

The Longhorns will host back-to-back one-game series on Monday and Tuesday against the Texas Southern Tigers and Rice Owls. The first game can be shown on ESPN+ and the other on the Longhorn Network.
