Texas A&M’s 2024 recruiting class boasts top 10 average rating per commit

With Drelon Miller’s commitment, Texas A&M’s 2024 class now holds a top 10 average rating according to On3’s football recruiting rankings.

Texas A&M is red-hot when it comes to its recruiting efforts for the 2024 class, and another college sports outlet is beginning to take notice.

With the latest commitment from four-star wide receiver Drelon Miller, the Aggies now boast the 10th-highest average rating per commit at 89.93 according to On3‘s football recruiting rankings. Texas A&M currently boasts six 4-star commits and seven 3-star commits, according to On3’s rankings score.

The only SEC teams ahead of the Maroon and White are Alabama (92.52), Georgia (91.53), Florida (91.01), and Auburn (90.07).

The Aggies have had no shortage of critics heading into a pivotal 2023 season, and truth be told the noise was beginning to carry over into their recruiting efforts. With plenty of their SEC foes racking up commitments heading into June, some were beginning to wonder if Jimbo Fisher and the Aggies were beginning to lose their luster when it came to the 2024 recruiting class.

How did the Maroon and White respond? Six commits over the course of eight days, with likely more to come in the near future. The Aggies are on a heater when it comes to their 2024 class, and it’s beginning to show across the board as their recruiting ranking has skyrocketed over at 247Sports.

The work is far from over for Jimbo Fisher and company, and with a handful of upcoming recruits increasingly trending toward committing to the Maroon and White, it wouldn’t be far-fetched to say that A&M’s 2024 class could very well surge into the top 10.
