Texas is gaining some momentum after a huge recruiting weekend. Several top prospects made their way down to Austin to check out Texas’ campus over the last few days.
The Longhorns landed a commitment from three-star tight end Will Randle on Sunday, moving its recruiting class ranking up to No. 24 in the nation.
Fresh off of his Texas visit, four-star defensive lineman Terrance Green dropped his top five schools with the Horns being included. Joining Texas on his list are Florida, Oregon, Michigan State and Miami.
247Sports composite ranks Green as the No. 49 defensive lineman in the country for the 2023 recruiting class and the No. 55 overall recruit in the state of Texas.
Green tallied up 40 tackles, 11 tackles for loss, 5.5 sacks and two fumble recoveries as a junior for Cy Woods High School. He displays great athleticism with his 6-foot-5 frame and Bo Davis would love to keep Green from leaving the Lone Star State.
