Texas A&M will host 2026 5-star OT out of Rockville (MD) this weekend

Texas A&M will reportedly host the No. 2-ranked offensive in the 2026 class this weekend for junior day

Texas A&M’s upcoming weekend is a busy one for coach Mike Elko and his staff, as the football program will host a long list of 2026 prospects, including the No. 1 and No. 2-ranked offensive tackles in the cycle, as five-star OT Immanuel Iheanacho will join fellow five-star offensive tackle Jackson Cantwell in College Station on Saturday.

After signing six offensive linemen in the 2025 class, OL coach Adam Cushing has already significantly impacted the field and the recruiting trail. Hence, it’s no surprise that the two top-ranked O-line prospects are considering the program and will likely discuss their visit for weeks after the fact.

Cantwell is the highest-ranked prospect in the 2026 class, showcasing impressive length and footwork akin to Iheanacho’s. Both players excel in pass protection, approaching elite levels while demonstrating significant run-blocking abilities, with the potential for even more growth at the next level.

Elko and Cushing know that landing one or both players would not only put the Aggies’ 2026 recruiting class in elite territory, but securing bookend starters for years to come would lead to vast improvement for A&M’s offense through the air and on the ground.

Ranked behind Nixa (MO) OT Jackson Cantwell, Immanuel Iheanacho is currently positioned as the 2nd-ranked prospect and offensive tackle in the class and the No. 1-ranked player in Maryland.
