Texas A&M wide receiver Noah Thomas is pumped for the revamped Aggie offense

Noah Thomas is ready to get to work

The big knock on Texas A&M football was the staleness of the offense over the last half-decade.

Even with some of the more talented players in the country on paper, they could not get over the hump and constantly underperformed with the offense looking disjointed at times. This ultimately led to Jimbo Fisher’s firing and Mike Elko’s hiring late last season.

So, with all of the questions and the previous letdowns, it’s music to fans’ ears to hear current players talk about learning the offense has been easier with some fresh wrinkles. One of those players is junior wide receiver Noah Thomas who will be looked upon as one of the leaders on offense for Coach Elko’s team.

He recently spoke with TexAgs, briefly summarizing the new system under OC Collin Klein and receivers coach Holmon Wiggins.

“The way he is teaching it is easy for us to learn…he’s doing a great good with that and so is Coach Wiggins and definitely putting in some exotics some plays”

The excitement is in the air, and we are just a few weeks out from seeing what this offense can do against a quality team. If Thomas can finally become a consistent weapon for starting quarterback Conner Weigman, Texas A&M’s offense should finally take that next step that fans have been waiting for.
