During the spring, college football teams officially start their trek toward the upcoming season, with the coaching staff holding daily practices with the players that are on campus at the time, especially focusing on the freshmen who enroll early, with the opportunity to gain an understanding of what the team might look like from a roster perspective by the time summer and fall camps make their way around the bend.
For the Aggies, this spring was more important with critical veterans returning and a bulk of the heralded 2022 recruiting class making their way on campus, with a number of them making immediately making their impact on the field during the spring game.
After the spring concluded, awards were given to each player who exemplified excellence during each practice in a variety of areas on the field.
