Texas A&M’s 2025 recruiting class is slowly but surely taking shape. New head coach Mike Elko has already hosted a bevy of talented prospects during last weekend’s junior day, creating important relationships that could pay dividends in the coming months.
As of this week, Elko and his staff have set their sights on 2025 four-star wide receiver Quanell X Farrakhan Jr. out of The Woodlands, Texas, receiving an offer from the Aggies on Thursday. Already receiving 20-plus offers, Farrakahn is already predicted to land with Penn State.
According to 247Sports, Farrakhan is currently positioned as the 252nd-ranked player in the 2025 cycle, the 28th-ranked wide receiver prospect, and the 36th-ranked player in Texas. Noted for his versatility in the backfield, Farrakhan is coming off a highly productive 2023 junior campaign, recording 100 yards and 5 touchdowns on the ground, coupled with 820 yards and 12 touchdowns through the air.
