Texas A&M offers 2025 4-star CB out of Tampa (FL)

Texas A&M has offered 2025 4-star cornerback Rukeem Stroud out of Tampa Bay, Florida.

Coming off a successful recruiting weekend for Texas A&M, head coach Mike Elko gained commitments from two 2025 prospects, including 4-star linebacker Kelvion Riggins and 4-star CB Deyjhon Pettaway, while hosting a long list of 2025 and 2026 prospects during the second junior day this month.

Elko and his staff have continued to hit the ground running this offseason, sending offer after offer with a focus on adding players at nearly every position group. However, after last year’s porous performance by the Aggies’ secondary, the cornerback position has become a recruiting premium.

With Pettaway committed, fellow 2025 4-star CB Rukeem Stroud received an official offer from Texas A&M this weekend, one of the more underrated defensive backs in the 2025 cycle. Possessing the size, speed, and ball production needed to thrive at the next level, Stroud will need to add healthy weight once he enters a collegiate program to reach his full potential.

According to 247Sports, Stroud is currently positioned as the 28th-ranked cornerback prospect and the 34th-ranked player in Florida.

During his 2023 junior season at Tampa Bay Tech, Stroud recorded 18 tackles (11 solo tackles) and an impressive 6 interceptions.
