Texas A&M lands in the Top-10 most recognizable programs among 1,000 high school football players surveyed

The Texas A&M brand is still holding up strong after a 5-7 season with high school recruits placing them in the top ten most recognizable programs

If you want another reason to see why Oklahoma and Texas moved to the SEC, check out which programs the 1,000 high school football recruits reportedly ranked as the most recognized programs.

All the usual top-ten suspects are there: Alabama, Ohio State, Texas, etc. However, there is a school that sticks out like a sore thumb for one reason and one reason only. It’s the lack of a national championship birth in the modern era. Texas A&M comes in at number seven, which might seem like a surprise to some, but ever since Johnny Manziel took the college football landscape by storm over a decade ago, the Aggies have maintained some relevance.

Then, hiring Jimbo Fisher has kept the Maroon & White topic of college football shows almost weekly. However, I believe Texas A&M Athletic Director Ross Bjork deserves a ton of credit for getting the football program everything they need to be successful but, just as importantly, improving the quality of life for all student-athletes.
