Texas A&M lands in 2024 3-Star WR NiTareon Tuggle’s Top 10 program list

Texas A&M has made 2024 3-star WR NiTareon Tuggle’s Top 10 program list ahead of a big recruiting push for the Maroon and White.

Texas A&M will field one of the most talented and complete starting wide receiver units during the 2023 season, but due to the rapidly growing popularity of the transfer portal, the importance of making additions through recruiting said skill players every cycle increases year to year.

Even with a starting unit consisting of Ainias Smith, Evan Stewart, and Moose Muhammad III, depth is an issue, and the 2024 recruiting class is loaded with enough receiving talent to at least provide head coach Jimbo Fisher some relief heading into a huge recruiting stretch this summer.

On Saturday, 2024 three-star wide receiver NiTareon Tuggle out of Nappanee, Indiana released his Top 10 program list, including Auburn, Georgia, Penn State, Cincinnati, Florida, Colorado, Michigan, Michigan State, Oregon, and of course, Texas A&M.

In a nutshell, Tuggle is a long, lean, and highly athletic receiving prospect, who at 6-3 and 190 lbs fits perfectly at the X postion due to his long-striding speed and excellent hands. in a scouting report 247Sports National Recruiting Analyst Allen Trieu, Tuggle’s vast skill set is examined:

Tall, long, but lean frame. Has fluidity and natural coordination in his movements. That shows up as he runs routes as he can smoothly change directions, but he is still working on his overall route running technique. Has good ball skills and a wide catch radius thanks to length, athleticism and hand-eye coordination. Slippery after the catch and elusive especially for his height. Must fill in and get stronger while refining his game but has a high ceiling. Clear Power Five prospect who still has a lot of runway to play his best football in college.

Tuggle is currently ranked as the 65th wide receiver in the 2024 class and the 6th-ranked player in Indiana. During his 2022 junior season at Northwood High School, Tuggle recorded 40 receptions for 792 yards and 15 touchdowns on the year.
