Even with spring ball in the rearview mirror and the offseason in full swing, Texas A&M continues to be hard at work with its recruiting efforts.
As the Maroon and White host their summer camps over the next two weeks, Jimbo Fisher and his staff continue to have their eyes on some of the biggest prospects of the future, with the latter hoping to earn some potential offers from the Aggies.
According to the latest development, one has already received an offer from the Maroon and White, and he’s no stranger to College Station either.
In a tweet on June 9 confirming the news, wide receiver Mike Brown expressed his excitement about being offered by Texas A&M. The name should sound familiar, as he is an Aggie legacy. Furthermore, both of his parents, Reggie Brown and Kerrie Patterson-Brown, are former A&M athletics stars:
“Honored and excited to follow in my parents’ footsteps as I receive an offer from the Texas A&M University! It’s a dream come true!”

Brown, part of the 2026 recruiting class, was in College Station over the weekend and participating in the Aggies’ recruiting camp. He hails from Legacy the School of Sport Sciences in Spring, Texas, and at 5-foot-10 and 165 pounds, he has a chance to continue the track record of accomplished A&M athletes in the family.
Reggie served as a four-year starter at linebacker for Aggies football, earning first-team All-Southwest Conference honors. Kerrie was on the A&M women’s basketball team and was one of their captains while playing on the hardwood.
Congratulations to Mike on being offered by A&M, and here’s to hoping College Station becomes your next home in the future!
