Texas A&M drops in the newest AP Top 25 poll after Week 13

Texas A&M has unsurprisingly dropped five spots in the lates AP Top 25 Poll

Texas A&M (8-3, 5-2 SEC) is still alive in the SEC Championship race after losing to Auburn in quadruple overtime. Alabama’s shocking loss to Oklahoma vaulted the Georgia Bulldogs into the Title game. At the same time, the winner of Texas A&M vs. Texas will be the second team in Atlanta.

While this seems crazy to most, this is just the first year of the expanded SEC, so get used to the chaos in the coming years. However, A&M’s first-half struggles over the last two conference road losses are music to the Longhorns’ ears, meaning this week’s preparation will make or break the Aggies’ 2024 season.

However, the SEC is becoming comical. Alabama, Ole Miss, and Texas A&M were all in control of their postseason destiny, while the Aggies are now the only three-loss conference team with a chance to play in the SEC Championship game.

Around the rest of the college football landscape in Week 13, Colorado’s loss to Kansas and Iowa State’s tough road win over Utah have thrown a wrench in the Big 12 standings.

After dropping to No. 19 in the newest US LBM Coaches Poll, here is where the Aggies land in the latest AP Top 25 poll after Week 13:
