While the Aggies’ football season is well underway, we’d like to take a brief pause to give some coverage to Texas A&M on the baseball diamond. On Wednesday afternoon, A&M received its 30-game SEC schedule from the league.
The Maroon and White’s conference slate includes home series against Mississippi State, Auburn, Vanderbilt, Georgia, and Arkansas. The Aggies will face Florida, South Carolina, Alabama, LSU, and Ole Miss for respective three-game sets on the road.
A&M’s SEC slate begins March 15-17 in Gainesville when the Aggies face Florida. They will then follow with consecutive home series against Mississippi State (March 22-24) and Auburn (March 28-30).
Texas A&M alternates home and away series for the following five weeks against foes South Carolina, Vanderbilt, and Georgia, fitting in a trip to Tuscaloosa against the Crimson Tide on April 19-21.
The SEC gauntlet continues into May when the Maroon and White face off against the last two national champions. LSU will be first, with a three-game set on May 3-5 at Alex Box Stadium. They’ll then hit the road to Oxford to battle with Ole Miss. Rounding out the 2024 regular season slate is a title rematch with the defending SEC champion Razorbacks.
The SEC Tournament will once again return to Hoover Metropolitan Stadium in Hoover, Alabama, with the action running from May 21-26.
