Texans vs. Colts Thursday injury report: RBs Duke Johnson, C.J. Prosise held out

The Houston Texans released their Thursday injury report ahead of their Week 15 encounter with the Indianapolis Colts, and two RBs did not practice.

The Houston Texans released their Thursday injury report ahead of their Week 15 rematch with the Indianapolis Colts Sunday at 12:00 p.m. CT at Lucas Oil Stadium.

Running backs Duke Johnson (neck) and C.J. Prosise (ankle) were downgraded from being limited participants on Wednesday to not participating at all on Thursday. Joining them as a non-participant was guard Hjalte Froholdt. Though listed as not injury related, Froholdt was later placed on the COVID-19 reserve.

Cornerback Cornell Armstrong (hamstring) was a limited participant after not participating on Wednesday. There was no change for receiver Brandin Cooks (neck), cornerback Phillip Gaines (knee), and cornerback John Reid (neck) as all three were limited participants for the second straight day.

Running back David Johnson practiced fully after being held out on Wednesday as he worked his way back from being on the COVID-19 reserve. Tight end Pharaoh Brown (concussion) was also a full participant.
