HOUSTON — Houston Texans running back Rex Burkhead is questionable to return to Sunday’s Week 14 match against the Seattle Seahawks. Burkhead sustained a groin injury during the third quarter, with the Texans trailing 19-13.
At the time of his groin injury, Burkhead had rushed for 40 yards on 11 carries in hopes of helping the Texans end their two-game losing skid.
“Execution, that’s what it comes down to,” Burkhead said following practice on Wednesday. “From the get-go, starting fast. Last week we kind of started slow there at the beginning, for sure.”
“Whenever you can start fast, establish the line of scrimmage, control up there, and of course, executing in the passing game. I definitely think that would help us get into a rhythm.”
