Texans final injury report: David Johnson out, Duke Johnson will start at RB

Duke Johnson will be in the starting lineup for the Texans

The final injury report from the Houston Texans means the Browns will see more of an old friend on Sunday than expected. Former Browns RB Duke Johnson will start for the visiting Texans due to an injury to regular starter David Johnson.

David Johnson is one of two Texans offensive starters who are ruled out with concussions. Guard Senio Kelemete is also out. He will be replaced by Max Scharping.

The Texans will miss David Johnson, who averages 4.0 yards per carry to Duke Johnson’s 2.8 (95 yards on 34 carries). Duke was a popular player for the Browns from 2015-2018.

Houston also has two defenders who are questionable for Sunday afternoon’s matchup at FirstEnergy Stadium. Linebacker Dylan Cole (back) and defensive end Charles Omenihu (hamstring) will be game-time decisions for the Texans.
