Texans downgraded 4 players to OUT vs. Colts

The Texans ruled out four players on Saturday.

The Houston Texans (4-9) downgraded four of their players from questionable to out ahead of the Week 15 matchup against the Indianapolis Colts (9-4).

Among the four players ruled out include running backs Duke Johnson (neck) and C.J. Prosise (ankle) and cornerbacks John Reid (neck) and Phillip Gaines (knee).

The Texans will still have David Johnson to take the lead role in the backfield while their secondary takes and even bigger hit. It was already a plus matchup for the Colts wide receivers and now it just gets better for T.Y. Hilton and Co.

The Colts have three players listed as questionable on their final injury report with defensive tackle DeForest Buckner in question after suffering an ankle injury during Thursday’s practice and didn’t practice on Friday.

The Colts and Texans will release their inactives an hour and a half before the 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff on Sunday.
