Texans CB Jimmy Moreland will not travel against the Jaguars

The Houston Texans will not have cornerback Jimmy Moreland (illness) as they play the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 15.

The Houston Texans will be without cornerback help as they take on the Jacksonville Jaguars Sunday at 12:00 p.m. Central Time at TIAA Bank Field.

The Texans ruled out Jimmy Moreland on Saturday with an illness. Moreland will not travel with the team to Jacksonville.

Moreland has been activated for five games this season. His last activation was against the Indianapolis Colts in Week 13 when Houston fell 31-0 at NRG Stadium. Moreland saw eight defensive snaps, his only such snaps of the season. Moreland has played 19 snaps on special teams for the Texans in 2021.

The former James Madison product was also left behind for the Texans’ Week 4 road game with the Buffalo Bills, also with an illness.
