Tevin Coleman carted off in 2nd quarter

The 49ers may have lost their starting running back to an elbow injury in the 2nd quarter of the NFC championship game.

Tevin Coleman went down awkwardly on a four-yard carry in the second quarter of the NFC championship game vs. the Packers.

He got tripped up and dove forward. He put his right arm down to break his fall and injured his elbow. He was unable to move from the spot he went down at after standing up.

The medical staff stood with him holding his arm in place before he boarded the cart and rode into the locker room.

The team is calling it an elbow injury according to the Fox broadcast.
