Terry McLaurin unanimously voted as team captain with Landon Collins out for season

Terry McLaurin has been named one of the Washington Football Team captains with Landon Collins out for the rest of the season.

With safety Landon Collins out for the rest of the 2020 season with an Achilles injury, the Washington Football Team has named WR Terry McLaurin as one of the team captains for the remainder of the year.

The second-year player has quickly become a fan favorite in Washington, where he stands as arguably the brightest young spot on the team who teammates love. It was seen after the win over the Dallas Cowboys in Week 7 that McLaurin made a speech after the game to encourage his teammates that they can be this good every week, the there was resounding support from the rest of the guys in the locker room. Don’t be surprised to see McLaurin hold onto one of these captain spots for the remainder of his time in Washington, which will hopefully be into the distant future.
