Tennessee-UTSA football game to feature first Spanish audio broadcast

The Tennessee-UTSA football game will feature the first Spanish audio broadcast in Vols’ history.

Saturday’s contest between Tennessee and UTSA at Neyland Stadium will feature a program first in Vols’ history.

The contest will feature the first Spanish-language broadcast for University of Tennessee athletics and will be available on the Tennessee Athletics App and UTsports.com

Carlos Lopez (play-by-play) and former Vol Fuad Reveiz will be on the call.

“This unique opportunity to continue to grow our fan base is exciting,” Tennessee Vice Chancellor and Director of Athletics Danny White said in a press release. “We have explored various models to increase Spanish broadcasts across several of our sports in future years and felt this will be a great test run to start the process and expand our Vol nation footprint.”

Kickoff between the Vols and Roadrunners is slated for 4 p.m. EDT and will be televised by SEC Network.
