Tennessee (1-0) will play at Pittsburgh (1-0) Saturday in Week 2 (3:30 p.m. EDT, ABC).
Saturday’s contest marks the fourth game in the all-time series between the Vols and Pittsburgh.
The Panthers lead the all-time series, 3-0. Previous contests were played at Neyland Stadium.
The 2022 contest is the second edition of the Johnny Majors Classic.
Majors played for the Vols and was a two-time SEC Player of the Year (1955-56). He finished second for the Heisman Memorial Trophy in 1956.
Majors served as head coach at Tennessee (1977-92) and Pittsburgh (1973-76, 1993-96), winning three SEC titles and the 1976 national championship.
