The Lady Vols’ softball series at Mississippi State has been rescheduled.
The Southeastern Conference series, which was postponed due to COVID-19 concerns in the Tennessee program earlier this month, will now be a midweek doubleheader on May 5 at Nusz Park in Starkville.
Game times are slated for 2 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. EDT. Both games against the Bulldogs (25-21, 1-14 SEC) will be streamed on SEC Network+.
The No. 17 Lady Vols (35-8, 8-7 SEC) had their midweek doubleheader canceled at Western Carolina on Tuesday due to a mutual decision by both schools.
The cancellation was not COVID-19 related.
Tennessee, which travels to Auburn for a three-game series against the Tigers, has won its last three SEC sets.
