Tennessee Titans release K Randy Bullock

The Titans announced the release of K Randy Bullock and two others on Wednesday.

The Tennessee Titans announced a trio of cuts on Wednesday, two of which were reported ahead of time. The one that wasn’t was kicker Randy Bullock.

Bullock spent the last three seasons with the Titans, and in the process stabilized what was a troubled position for the franchise before he got there.

However, Bullock’s limitations with his leg became an issue and forced Tennessee to avoid going for longer field goals, which was particularly a problem with how badly the offense struggled to score in 2022.

The move to cut Woods saves the Titans about $2 million in cap space, and when combined with the moves to release Robert Woods and Taylor Lewan, also, the team now have $4.2 million in cap space.

Where the Titans go from here at kicker remains to be seen, but the team does seem to like 2022 UDFA, Caleb Shudak, who saw limited action in 2022 but has a bigger leg. Look for Tennessee to have a competition at the position between Shudak and someone else.
