The Tennessee Titans have chosen the four practice squad players they are going to protect ahead of the Week 17 game against the Miami Dolphins.
According to the league’s transactions wire, the Titans are protecting wide receiver Mason Kinsey, quarterback Kevin Hogan, center Daniel Munyer, and running back Jordan Wilkins.
The Titans might have to dip into their practice squad for Sunday’s game versus the Dolphins, as a total of 11 players are on the COVID-19 list.
Eight of those players are on the active roster and include wide receivers Julio Jones and Nick Westbrook-Ikhine, right guard Nate Davis, defensive lineman Denico Autry, outside linebacker Bud Dupree, linebacker Jayon Brown, backup tackle Kendall Lamm, and cornerback Buster Skrine.
The good news for Tennessee is that all eight of those players could still play in Week 17 after the NFL and NFLPA agreed to modified COVID-19 protocols that will allow players who test positive to return after five days.
The Titans and Dolphins will meet on Sunday at Nissan Stadium, with kickoff set for noon CST.
