With their final pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, the Tennessee Titans added defensive back Chris Jackson with the 243rd overall pick.
Jackson, who brings some intriguing tools with him to the NFL, will now have a chance to compete for a spot on the Titans’ roster during training camp.
Here are three things to know about the Marshall product.
Former multi-sport athlete
With the league as a whole moving to roster faster corners, Jackson’s speed (4.47 40-yard dash time) fits with that mold. In high school, Jackson was a multi-sport athlete thanks to that speed.
Not only was he a Florida 2A all-State wide receiver, but he also ran track. Jackson was a two-time Florida state high school track champion in the 110-meter hurdles and finished as a runner-up in the 300-meter hurdles.
