Tennessee Titans’ A.J. Brown returned to practice on Friday

Titans WR A.J. Brown returned to practice on Friday and appears on track to play on Sunday.

Tennessee Titans wide receiver A.J. Brown appears to be just fine and on track to play on Sunday against the Pittsburgh Steelers after returning to practice on Friday.

Of course, Brown popped up on the injury report on Thursday and did not practice after getting in a full session on Wednesday, which led to some concern.

We had hoped it was just a rest day for the second-year wideout, and now it appears that was likely the case. We’ll have to wait until the official injury report gets released later today to see what his exact participation was and if he carries a status into Sunday, but for now it looks like Brown will suit up.

Here’s a look at Brown in action on Friday.

This is obviously great news for the Titans, who are simply a better team when Brown is on the field.

Tennessee already has its hands full with an elite Pittsburgh defense in Week 7, and not having Brown would have made things more difficult.

Since returning from a bone bruise in his knee that forced him to miss two games, Brown has totaled 12 catches for 140 yards and three touchdowns in his last two games, including the game-tying score near the end of regulation in Week 6.
