Tennessee Titans agree to terms with CB Kevin Johnson

The Tennessee Titans have added another cornerback.

The Tennessee Titans have added a cornerback to their current stable, as the team has agreed to terms on a one-year deal with former Cleveland Brown, Kevin Johnson.

The news comes from ESPN’s Adam Schefter, who cites Johnson’s agent, Drew Rosenhaus. The financials of the deal are not yet known.

Brown, 28, was a former first-round pick of the Houston Texans back in 2015, spending his first four seasons with the Titans’ rival.

He then moved on to play for the Buffalo Bills in 2019, and played the 2020 campaign with the Browns, where he made six starts in 13 games played.

According to Broadway Sports’ John Glennon, Johnson played the majority of his snaps in the slot last season, so he could be the Titans’ answer at the position for 2021.

The Titans lost yet another one of their defensive backs from last season, as Desmond King, who played in the slot last season after being acquired in a trade, has signed with the Texans.
