Tennessee offensive line target and 3-star prospect J’Marion Gooch has committed to Auburn, giving the Tigers their eleventh commitment of the 2021 recruiting class.

A wide set 6-foot-7.5 inch, 358-pound prospect, Gooch is a junior at The King’s Academy in Seymour, Tennessee. Rated the No. 86 offensive tackle in his class, Gooch has tremendous upside with his size and was coveted by several major programs. Colorado, Miami, Oregon, Ole Miss and several others had offered the offensive lineman.
Tennessee had offensive coordinator Jim Chaney assigned as Gooch’s primary recruiter, and will continue to pursue him, but it is very likely the Vols will have to look elsewhere for offensive line talent in the 2021 recruiting class.
UT currently has 10 players committed to the class, with no offensive linemen included.
