Tennessee softball projected as No. 3 overall seed in NCAA Tournament

Tennessee softball is projected as the No. 3 overall seed in the NCAA Tournament.

No. 4 Tennessee (41-8, 19-5 SEC) will play Florida in the Southeastern Conference Tournament quarterfinals Friday at Bogle Field in Fayetteville, Arkansas.

First pitch between the Lady Vols and Gators is slated for 11 a.m. EDT. SEC Network will televise the matchup.

Tennessee enters postseason-play after winning the Southeastern Conference regular-season championship. The Lady Vols are the No. 1 seed in the SEC Tournament.
