Tennessee continued its pursuit of future defensive linemen as it offered Luther McCoy, a 2021 prospect from Saint Augustine, Fla.

McCoy is a 6-foot-4, 280-pound junior at Creekside High School in Saint Augustine, and does not hold a rating on the 247Sports Composite.
Tennessee was the first SEC offer for McCoy, before Kentucky stepped in with an offer of its own. Cincinnati, Syracuse, Georgia Tech and Duke have also offered the defensive lineman.
Tennessee currently has seven players committed to the 2021 class, and one defensive tackle after Isaac Washington pledged to the Vols during his visit last weekend. Defensive end Darrell Jackson has pledged to the Vols, as well.
