Tennessee moves up in US LBM Coaches Poll after Alabama win

The Vols move up in the latest US LBM Coaches Poll after defeating Alabama.

Week 8 of the 2024 college football season has concluded. Week 8 featured Tennessee (6-1, 2-1 SEC) winning a top 10 matchup at Neyland Stadium on Saturday. The Vols were victorious, 24-17, against Alabama (5-2, 2-2 SEC).

Tennessee will have its second and final open date in Week 9. The Vols will return to action on Nov. 2 versus Kentucky during Week 10. The Tennessee-Kentucky contest does not have a kick off time determined, but is slated for a 6-8 p.m. EDT night window at Neyland Stadium.

Following Week 8, the latest US LBM Coaches Poll was released. Tennessee is up two spots after defeating the Crimson Tide.
