One of the top prospects in the 2022 recruiting class released his top eight schools on Friday, as well as his commitment date, and Tennessee is still in the running.
5-star cornerback Jaheim Singletary from Jacksonville, Florida posted a list of schools on his Twitter account, and announced he would commit on New Year’s Day.

Tennessee is included with Auburn, Georgia, Florida, LSU, Miami, Clemson and Oklahoma.
Singletary is the No. 9 prospect in his class, according to the 247Sports Composite.
It is a deep cornerback class, as he is the No. 4 corner in the country. The 6-foot-1, 170-pound junior at Robert E. Lee High School in Jacksonville is also the No. 2 overall player in the state of Florida.
Singletary is an elite prospect that would be a huge boost for Tennessee’s 2022 recruiting class, which currently has only one prospect committed in 3-star defensive end Jimmy Scott.
