Tennessee football not ranked in top 25 power rankings

Tennessee football is not ranked in 2024 top 25 power rankings.

On Friday, EA Sports College Football 25 released overall team power rankings in the upcoming game. Tennessee did not make the list.

The Vols finished 9-4 last season with a Citrus Bowl victory over Iowa, who ranks No. 25 on the list.

On3 ranked the Vols as the No. 13 team nationally in recruiting and No. 8 in the SEC.

ESPN ranked Tennessee at No. 9 in its 2024 College Football Power Index (FPI). ESPN’s Bill Connelly also ranks Tennessee at No. 16 in his Post-Spring SP+ Rankings, which are based off returning production, recent recruiting and recent history.
