Tennessee senior defensive lineman Omari Thomas declared for the 2025 NFL draft on Monday.
“I will officially be declaring for the 2025 NFL draft,” Thomas announced.
The 6-foot-4, 325-pound defensive lineman appeared in 61 games for the Vols from 2020-24. He recorded 115 tackles, 17 tackles for a loss, five sacks, 12 pass deflections, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery and one block.
Thomas went to Tennessee from Briarcrest Christian School in Eads, Tennessee.
He was the SEC’s representative on the NCAA Division I Football Oversight Committee Student-Athlete Connection Group in 2024. Thomas earned his degree in journalism and electronic media from Tennessee in May.
The former Vol was also a member of the 2020-21 VOLeaders Academy and visited Botswana in 2022.
