Tennessee defeats South Carolina by 40 points for a second time this season.

No. 13 Tennessee (21-8, 10-5 SEC) defeated South Carolina (10-19, 3-13 SEC), 85-45, Saturday at Thompson-Boling Arena.

With the win, the Vols completed a regular-season sweep of the Gamecocks.

Tennessee led, 38-26, at halftime and surrendered 19 points over the final 20 minutes of the contest.

Josiah-Jordan James scored 18 points in his return to the Vols’ lineup and was one of four Tennessee players to total 10-plus points.

Jahmai Mashack had 14 points and six rebounds, while sophomore point guard Zakai Zeigler recorded 13 points and 11 assists.

Olivier Nkamhoua and Uros Plavsic scored 10 points each for the Vols. Nkamhoua also finished with 10 rebounds and five assists.

Haden Brown scored 18 points for the Gamecocks.
