Tennessee defeats Presbyterian, 86-44

The Vols defeat Presbyterian, 86-44.

Justin Powell and Kennedy Chandler each scored 15 points for Tennessee in the Vols’ 86-44 victory over Presbyterian Tuesday at Thompson-Boling Arena.

Powell was 5-for-5 from beyond the 3-point arc as he came off the bench for No. 15 Tennessee, who opened a 45-21 lead by halftime against the Blue Hose (5-3).

Chandler also recorded seven assists for the Vols (5-1), who combined to make 14 three-point attempts.

Victor Bailey Jr. added 14 points for Tennessee. Santiago Vescovi scored 13 points and freshman Zakai Zeigler finished with nine. Bailey Jr. made four 3-point attempts and Zeigler converted two.

Winston Hill and Kobe Stewart scored nine points each for Presbyterian.
