KNOXVILLE — Tennessee concluded the regular season Saturday with a 85-63 loss to Auburn.
The Vols finished the 2019-20 regular season slate with a 17-14 (9-9 SEC) record. Tennessee finished the season 11-6 in games played at Thompson-Boling Arena.
The Tigers led 42-31 at halftime and outscored Tennessee, 43-32, in the second half.
John Fulkerson led the Vols with 19 points. Jordan Bowden added 17, while Santiago Vescovi scored 13 points.
Samir Doughty led all scorers with 32 points, connecting on 10-of-17 field goals and was 8-for-13 behind the three-point line.
Tennessee will now travel to Nashville and play in the 2020 Southeastern Conference Tournament. Tournament play begins March 11 and goes through March 15 at Bridgestone Arena.
