Tennessee athletes to compete in World Aquatics Championships

Tennessee athletes to compete in World Aquatics Championships.

Tennessee’s men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams will be represented at the World Aquatics Championships in Fukuoka, Japan.

The event takes place during the next two weeks.

A combination of 15 current, former and future Vols and Lady Vols will compete.

Tennessee athletes scheduled to appear include: Gui Caribe (Brazil); Jordan Crooks (Cayman Islands); Brooklyn Gouthwright (Canada); Lyubomir Epitropov (Bulgaria); Martin Espernberger (Austria); Bryden Hattie (Canada); Michael Houlie (South Africa); Mona McSharry (Ireland); Kayky Mota (Brazil); PJ Stevens (Slovenia); Lam Stone (New Zealand); Joey Tepper (United States); Kira Toussaint (Netherlands); Joaquin Vargas (Peru); Ellen Walshe (Ireland); Rich Murphy (coach for Peru) and Kristen Romano (Puerto Rico and UT -Pro Group).
