Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins won’t be able to play during his team’s Week 10 game against the Houston Texans due to injury.
According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Higgins suffered a hamstring injury in practice on Wednesday and it’s bad enough that he will miss at least one game.
This comes at a tough time for a Bengals team already grappling with the fact Ja’Marr Chase isn’t 100 percent after falling hard on his back in a Week 9 victory over the Bills, to the point Chase needed an MRI for the issue.
Higgins has played in seven games this year, even fighting through a rib fracture and caught eight passes for 100 yards in Week 9. With Higgins out, the Bengals will turn to the likes of veteran Trenton Irwin and potentially a returning rookie Charlie Jones.
