Tee Higgins says he hopes to stay with Bengals for most of his career

USA TODAY Sports interviews Cincinnati Bengals WR Tee Higgins.

2022 was a great season for Bengals receiver Tee Higgins. With 8 touchdowns and over 1100 receiving yards, he was one of Joe Burrow’s favorite targets on the field.

But will it be tough to keep both Higgins and their other top receiver, Ja’Marr Chase, next season?

USA TODAY Sports’ Mackenzie Salmon asked Higgins about overtures made by rival players around the league, the star receiver indicated that Jags running back Travis Etienne posted about it on social media, and he received a few texts, but the 24-year-old star loves Cincinnati “and hopes to be there hopefully most of my career.”

Higgins also confirmed he hasn’t had any talks with the Bengals front office.

Aside from wanting to stay in Cincinnati, Higgins did hint that a number change from 85 to 5 is “in the works.”
