Cincinnati Bengals rookies have been leading the charge away from the field this offseason amid current events.

Joe Burrow, for example, stepped up and used his platform to speak out — which fellow rookie Tee Higgins loved. Burrow was also one of many NFL stars to sign a letter supporting an end of qualified immunity for police. Khalid Kareem also used his platform for good.

And now Higgins himself is taking it a step further by providing scholarships at his alma mater of Oak Ridge High School.

He announced the news on Instagram:

“Change is about action!,” Higgins wrote on Instagram. “BE THE CHANGE by joining me and @esm.football by donating $5-$85+ to provide scholarships to deserving black and African American student-athletes from my alma mater, Oak Ridge High School! 100% of proceeds will go directly to these scholarships.”

It’s merely the latest example of Bengals rookie going big with their actions before they even arrive at Paul Brown Stadium.
